Sunway Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sunway Developments Pte Ltd, with Hoi Hup Realty, has won a competitive bid for an Executive Condominium site at Tengah Plantation Close in Tengah New Town with a bid of SGD 348.5 million (approximately RM 1.2 billion) on September 11.

The site is a 99-year leasehold plot of land spanning 16,441.2 square meters (4.06 acres) which is located within walking distance of the upcoming Tengah Park MRT station on the Jurong Regional Line.

The Tengah Plantation Close EC is located at the heart of Tengah Town where there is a rising demand for new properties in the District of Tengah. The first EC site released in Tengah Town was fully sold out within a month.

It is also ACS and Princess Elizabeth Pri School including near well-known areas such as the Jurong Regional Centre and the Jurong Lake District with landmarks such as the Jem and Westgate malls, Jurong Lake Gardens, and the future Singapore Science Centre.

In addition, the site is near the upcoming Jurong Innovation District where the Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), which is a statutory board under Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry that champions sustainable industrial development aims to locate the next generation high-tech, cutting-edge digital tech and manufacturing business and community.
