KUALA LUMPUR: Hextar World at Empire City is set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025 (Q4 2025), marking a major milestone in Malaysia’s retail and lifestyle landscape.

A recent tenant signing ceremony revealed key anchor tenants, including the Malaysia National Ice Skating Stadium by Koperasi Industri Sukan Atlet Malaysia Bhd, an Olympic-sized venue poised to elevate the nation’s winter sports scene.

Adding to the excitement, Malaysia’s largest indoor water park will debut with an innovative concept, alongside Slope Master, the country’s largest indoor ski training facility.

The diverse food and beverage lineup includes Luckin Coffee, China’s fastest-growing coffee chain; NOMNOM Food Hall, a digitally integrated dining hub; and Senkyaku Banrai, a Japanese-themed food street offering authentic culinary experiences.

Other attractions include a bowling centre, a sports and bar street, and immersive edutainment experiences.

Managed by Alliance Empire Sdn Bhd, this project is a collaboration between industry leaders including Alliance Premier Sdn Bhd, EXSIM Holdings Sdn Bhd, JT Momentum Sdn Bhd, and Hextar Healthcare Bhd.

EXSIM Holdings, owned by shareholders Lim Aik Hoe, Lim Aik Kiat, and Lim Aik Fu, is renowned for redefining urban living with sustainable architectural designs.

According to a statement, discussions are also ongoing with Metrojaya, the well-established department store, to finalise its participation in the mall.

“We’re thrilled to bring Hextar World to Empire City, a game-changing destination that redefines entertainment, lifestyle, and nightlife in the Klang Valley,” said Datuk Eddie Ong, group chief executive officer of Hextar Group.

“Strategically located with seamless access to major highways and a thriving community, Hextar World is designed as a vibrant hub where people can shop, dine, and unwind—all in one place. As we move closer to our soft opening in Q4 2025, we look forward to unveiling more exciting brands and experiences that will make Hextar World an iconic destination for locals and visitors alike.”

Hextar World at Empire City is envisioned as an all-encompassing lifestyle hub. Spanning 1.8 million square feet of net lettable area, it is divided into six distinct zones catering to a variety of visitor interests.

The development will feature over 600 retail, entertainment, and dining options, including a 28,000-square-foot supermarket for daily essentials and a 450,000-square-foot entertainment space brimming with attractions.

Beyond its scale and offerings, Hextar World introduces “The Exploratorium,” a concept designed to revolutionise traditional shopping experiences. Built around four key pillars, it fosters Discovery & Innovation through emerging brands and technology showcases, nurtures Connection & Community with social spaces like co-working areas and cafés, delivers Entertainment & Adventure through attractions like an indoor water park, cinemas, and live performances, and promotes Wellness & Active Living with fitness facilities, spas, and recreational spaces.

As the retail and lifestyle core of Empire City, Hextar World is surrounded by an integrated mix of developments, including six commercial suite towers, four office towers, two hospitality towers, and three hotels.

Its strategic location provides access to 18 affluent townships within a 10 km radius and direct connectivity to major highways such as the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong and Penchala Link via Sprint Highway, making it an easily accessible destination for work, leisure, and daily needs.

Following the tenant signing event, Hextar World is steadily progressing toward its highly anticipated Q4 2025 launch, promising a transformative retail and lifestyle experience for all.
