KUALA LUMPUR: TH Properties Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned unit of Lembaga Tabung Haji, said the recent signing of land deals in Bandar Enstek with four prominent investors has propelled the first quarter land sale of the township into full swing.

The company has concluded the sale of industrial and agricultural land to Epsom College in Malaysia (represented by Educ8 Group Sdn Bhd), Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd (operating as Batik Air), cold chain logistics technology firm GoBuilders Netsoft Sdn Bhd, and commercial developer Meta Legends Sdn Bhd, for a total of RM70.26 million. Datin Kartini Abdul Manaf, the company’s chairman, hailed these land transactions as significant milestones for Bandar Enstek, following the successful launch of phase 3 of techpark@enstek in the preceding November.

She emphasised Bandar Enstek’s appeal to prominent entities like Epsom College, Coca Cola, Mahsuri Foods, Purecircle, Farm Fresh, Kellogg’s Malaysia, Ajinomoto Malaysia, Dutch Lady Milk Industries and Mac Food Services, attributing this to its strategic location.

The addition of Malindo Airways, GoBuilders, and Meta Legends is anticipated to significantly boost economic growth in Bandar Enstek and Negri Sembilan at large, with projected future investments exceeding RM420 million and the creation of over 2,000 job opportunities, she said in a statement.

Epsom College secured 30 acres of land adjacent to its current campus for future expansion, having operated on a 50-acre parcel in Bandar Enstek since 2014.

Meta Legends acquired 2.25 acres of agricultural land for upcoming commercial ventures, while GoBuilders Netsoft, specialising in cold chain logistics technology, bought 13.43 acres of land.

Malindo Airways purchased 4.13 acres of land within phase 1 of techpark@enstek to build its training and catering complex.

TH Properties embarked on the development of Bandar Enstek in 1999, comprising residential, industrial, commercial, and educational components, spanning 5,119 acres, of which 1,750.80 acres are designated for techpark@enstek.

According to Kartini, techpark@enstek phase 1, which covers an area of 336.44 acres, has been fully sold, and phase 2, which covers an area of 307.34 acres, is 91.5 per cent taken up.

Kartini outlined the development plans for phase 3 of techpark@enstek, covering 616.64 acres, which will include semi-detached factories across six phases over the next 14 to 15 years, with an estimated gross development value of RM1.4 billion.

Meanwhile, Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun highlighted TH Properties’ pivotal role in driving investment through Bandar Enstek, particularly through techpark@enstek, contributing significantly to the state’s economic progress.

He underscored the potential of investor influxes to elevate the state’s revenue and enhance educational and socioeconomic standards in the region.
